Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bronx is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’m really disappointed with my experience today. I usually go to this restaurant between 7–9 PM because I actually like their combo pack, which is why I keep coming back. However, today both items were spoiled. The beef had a very bad smell and tasted off; it honestly made me feel like I was about to vomit after one bite. The fried potatoes were also spoiled. This is not the first time I’ve had this issue. I’ve noticed multiple times that the beef is not fresh and has a bad odor, which makes me concerned about how the food is handled and cleaned. However, after today’s experience, this is really unacceptable. Food safety should be taken seriously.

This restaurant offers a warm and authentic dining experience with traditional flavors and friendly hospitality. The food is rich in spices and aroma, reflecting the true taste of Bangladeshi cuisine. Popular dishes like biryani, beef bhuna, fish curry, and dal are flavorful and cooked with traditional ingredients such as mustard, green chilies, and fresh herbs. Rice is usually the center of the meal, served with different curries and side dishes, which is typical in Bangladeshi food culture. The quality of the food is often praised for being fresh, spicy, and comforting, similar to homemade meals. Dishes like kacchi biryani In terms of service, Al Aqsa restaurant has known for their warm hospitality and generous portions. Staff members usually try to make guests feel welcome and often recommend dishes to try. The atmosphere is usually casual and family-friendly.

I’ve visited Al Aqsa Kitchen three times, and each time has been a great experience. The chicken dish was perfectly fried on the outside and remained juicy on the inside. The sauce was the highlightβ€”slightly sweet with a nice kick of spice and a rich garlic flavor that blended really well. Each piece was evenly coated, so every bite had a consistent taste. The added green onions and chili flakes gave it a nice crunch and extra flavor, making the dish feel well balanced. The samosas on the side were also crispy and light, a nice complement to the meal. The biryani was also very tastyβ€”well-cooked rice with great flavor and nicely seasoned chicken, making it a satisfying option on its own. Overall, everything was flavorful and consistently good across all my visits. Definitely a place I would come back to again.

I ordered 4 fresh paratha with other dishes and they gave me cold, hard and overburned three days old paratha. I came home opened the foil and was so disappointed. I called multiple times and the line is purposely on busy mode not going through. After paying $50 takeout and not being able to eat peacefully is unacceptable. WHY IS THE FOOD QUALITY GOING DOWN? Can owner take a look at why this is happening.

Great little hole in the wall spot. Food is delicious even though it’s all mostly made in batches. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant can get very busy in surges. Ive had a bunch of different things there and it’s all been good. Favorites so far are Ruhi fish curry and a special young goat biryani. Recommend
